Day 2 (part 1) - Into the skies

Taking the hotair balloon was indeed an amazing and unique experience inspite of the cost @ USD$140. It was steep, but it was worth it. Up close, I never expected a hotair balloon to be this huge by itself!

We watched the balloon next to us take off. Excited for our turn.

seriously, we would never expect it to be so HOT. When the huge burner fired up, we felt cooked. Can feel my pores opening up man...!! We rose super fast. So wideeyed at the sight and busy snapping away that I din realize the rate we were ascending.

the people below look like ants.

My leg was jelly to the point i cant stand straight.. super noob hahah. After awhile, I got quite used to our height and felt a lil braver!!

theres this very small feeling as we rose. we begin to see more, but things get smaller too.

this shot reminds me of minority report.

We were pretty low ard the roofs area that we can see whats in the house. chickens and geese running about on the top level.

we landed in the middle of a plantation. It was 3 hard thumps and the basket almost tilted. N i had the most 'privileged' landing position.. but to me, its embarrassing lorr... the captain made me sit on this ang moh man for the landing position. hahha. maybe its really safer. the impact was damn hard. i wasnt really sitting on him at first till the impact knocked me down.

about 20 of us :)
