Re-hi

Yea, havent been blogging for some time because I was so overwhelmed with work.. And after the kids' exams, I was suddenly so free that I flooded myself with things I always wished I had time to do but didn't. I even put my Gossip Girl dramas aside for a good 5 months without realizing it.

I was rather proud of myself for eating healthily during the diet challenge late last yr to the beginning of this yr. I lost 3 kg of body fat and my waist size was almost on par with my pre-Uni days'. I must admit that I got a little complacent after that and thought that I can eat anything I want since I'm underweight. Together with the high stress levels of teaching, I found myself indulging in ice cream or other fattening stuff once a day for a prolonged period of time (Omg right!!) Of cos, the effects was slow..... But now that it came back one whole round with full force.. I stepped on the weighing scale today and I got a shock! I put back on the 3kg... On top of that, I gained another 500grams! I have never weighed heavier than 45 kg my entire life so this really scares me.

I relooked at Zuzana's website through all the food and diet tips. There was one diet challenge - no sugar diet challenge. That's one challenge I think I'll totally fail even before stopping. Ice creams, cakes, chocolates, bubble tea and all sorts of deserts are my weakness. I should at least resume the diet I used to embark on becos it wasn't that painful for me and it totally worked.

General rules-
1) 5 meals a day, 3 hrs apart
2) two third veg and fruits, one third lean protein
3) frigging earn my carbs!!

I shall be posting my daily meal intakes again. It really holds me accountable when I do that, instead of keeping a brief mental one. Also, I will be stricter with the 'earn my carbs' rule! Check out this space for my results and updates :)

I need to give this diet a name... It used to be Zuzana diet, then Brittany diet because they inspired me. I shall call it the Sebrina diet - an aim towards what it used to be. I have proved to myself that I could do it..both for health's and beauty's sakes.
